Summerlin’s 2026 Dining Shake-Up: Tacos, Smash Burgers and Ramen |
New counters at The Resort at Summerlin and a Downtown Summerlin ramen spot expand west-side dinner options |

Summerlin diners have more choices for a weeknight meal in 2026. Two Los Angeles favorites joined a west-side food hall in March, while a San Francisco ramen specialist took over a former Downtown Summerlin restaurant space. The openings give neighbors new options without heading to the Strip.
The biggest change is at The Neighborhood Food Hall at 221 N. Rampart Boulevard, where taco and burger counters now share a destination with pizza, seafood and dim sum.
Tacos 1986: a taste of Tijuana-style street food
Los Angeles-born Tacos 1986 celebrated its Summerlin grand opening on March 17, 2026. Its menu centers on handmade corn tortillas and choices such as carne asada, adobada pork, chicken and mushroom tacos. The operator also describes mulitas, vampiros and quesadillas on the menu.
The opening celebration included mariachi music and complimentary tacos for early guests, according to the resort's March announcement. Those giveaways were opening-day offers, not ongoing specials.
For The Win: smash burgers next door
Two days later, on March 19, 2026, For The Win opened at the same food hall. The Southern California brand serves thin smash burgers with grilled onions, pickles and house sauce on a toasted potato bun. Its lineup also includes grilled cheese, a veggie burger and several styles of fries.
The side-by-side setup makes the food hall useful for a group that cannot agree on tacos or burgers. Families can choose different counters without organizing separate restaurant stops.

More than tacos and burgers
The resort's official dining page also lists Nom Wah for dim sum, ai Pazzi Pizza and Pearls Oyster Bar. Nearby resort dining includes additional sit-down options, so the property works for a quick bite or a longer evening.
The two new counters were part of a broader dining renovation at The Resort at Summerlin. In an official January announcement, the property connected their arrivals to its larger food-and-beverage investment.
Marufuku Ramen changes the Downtown Summerlin lineup
Another 2026 addition is Marufuku Ramen at 2010 Festival Plaza Drive, in the former SkinnyFats space. The San Francisco-born restaurant is known for Japanese ramen, and the Downtown Summerlin outpost also offers kushiyaki grilled skewers and a full bar.
This is the chain's second Las Vegas-area restaurant, following its earlier location at The Bend. For Summerlin residents, it adds another sit-down option near the shops and entertainment in Downtown Summerlin.
What to know before you go
The Neighborhood Food Hall: 221 N. Rampart Blvd. Choose Tacos 1986 or For The Win for a counter-service meal; explore the current restaurant lineup before visiting.
Marufuku Ramen: 2010 Festival Plaza Drive, Downtown Summerlin. Check current hours and menus before traveling; opening announcements are not reliable guides to today's service schedule.
These openings do not mean every Summerlin restaurant is thriving, but they do widen the everyday dinner choices. The most useful question now may be whether tonight calls for tacos, a smash burger or a bowl of ramen.

My kids can never agree on dinner. Having tacos and burgers at the same food hall might save us an argument.
I'd go for the For The Win burger first. Grilled onions on a potato bun sounds pretty good.
The mushroom tacos at Tacos 1986 sound good. Has anyone tried them yet?
